The Clinical Tobacco Intervention is a collaborative program of the Ontario Medical Association, Ontario Dental Association and Ontario Pharmacists’ Association[1][2][3]. The CTI provides an organized appraoch to help physicians and other health care professionals help patients to stop smoking. An education kit is available to help guide the physician, and it also includes a "Guide to a Smoke-Free Future" for the patient.

The Smokers’ Helpline of the Canadian Cancer Society is available (in Ontario at 1-877-513-5333) for smokers and those who care about them.
